The transformer is fan forced with 6 (240v rated)fans on the 415v input side . These fans are fuse protected on the 240v side.
The fans will turn on when the thermal switch in each phase turns on.These switches are normally open and will close when the temperature reaches 120Deg C.
These switches turn on when the temperature in the thermal switch reaches 120Deg C and this switch is buried in the primary input winding, and is monitoring the primary winding temperature.
The weight of the 3 phase transformer is 500kg.
The metal base is made from stainless steel to eliminate the induced circulating currents from the high leakage magnetic field.
